Tennessee changes underneath a machine as you drive across it. West of the Tennessee River it's flat alluvial ground and loess — fine, abrasive silt over Delta clay that turns to gumbo in a wet spring. Middle Tennessee is limestone close to the surface, which makes ordinary excavation an impact application. East of the plateau it's Appalachian rock and steep slope. Three different wear problems in one state.
Our branch sits in south Memphis, minutes from the airport, the interstate corridors and the river terminals. That puts us at the center of the Mid-South rather than just Tennessee — we're closer to the Arkansas and Mississippi Delta than to Nashville, and a lot of what we ship goes to contractors and dealers working all three states. We stock undercarriage, rubber tracks, pads and ground engaging tools for that work. Industrial Tractor Parts has been supplying heavy equipment parts since 1956, and we run nine branches nationwide.
We're an independent aftermarket parts distributor, not a dealership. That means we're not limited to one equipment brand and we're not tied to one price book. We're one of the longest-tenured authorized Berco dealers in North America, and we produce our own ITP private-label line — components built to the standard we're willing to put our own name on.
What We Stock at Our Tennessee Branch
Undercarriage Components
Full undercarriage for excavators, dozers, crawler loaders, drills, pipelayers and compact track loaders — from a single roller replacement to a complete both-sides rebuild:
- Track chains — sealed and lubricated (SALT) and greased chains, with or without shoes
- Track shoes and pads — single, double and triple grouser, in standard and heavy-duty gauge
- Wide and LGP track shoes for Delta ground and soft alluvial soils
- Track rollers and carrier rollers — bottom and top rollers, single and double flange
- Front idlers and idler groups — including recoil spring and track adjuster assemblies
- Sprockets and sprocket segments — bolt-on segments for machines where a full sprocket change isn't practical
- Seal groups, pins, bushings, bolts and nuts
- Track guides, rock guards and full-length guiding for limestone, quarry and side-slope work
In-House Track Press Work
We run a track press at our Tennessee branch, which means we're not only selling you components — we can do the work that turns them into a finished track:
- Shortening and lengthening chains — adding or removing links to correct pitch, adjust for wear, or adapt a chain to a different machine
- Pad and shoe swaps — pulling worn shoes off a serviceable chain and bolting on new ones, instead of buying a complete chain you don't need
- Building complete track groups — chain, shoes and hardware assembled and ready to install when it arrives
Portable Pin Presses
For fleets that would rather do their own undercarriage work, we sell portable track pin presses — master pin removal and installation, pin and bushing turns, and chain work in your own yard or on the job site. No lowboy, no shipping the machine out.
Rubber Tracks
Rubber tracks for mini and midi excavators, compact track loaders, multi-terrain loaders, dumpers and carriers.
- Non-marking compounds for finished concrete, asphalt, campus and institutional work
- Tread patterns matched to the application — C-pattern and zig-zag for traction in mud and on slopes, block and staggered-block for CTLs on hard surfaces and turf
- Continuous steel cord and embedded steel link construction for machines running high hours on abrasive material
Rubber and Poly Pads
- Bolt-on rubber pads for excavators and dozers working paved sites
- Clip-on and chain-on pads for machines switching between street work and dirt without a full shoe change
- Poly pads for road milling machines and pavers
Ground Engaging Tools (GET)
- Bucket teeth, adapters, pins and retainers
- Cutting edges, end bits and side cutters
- Sidebar protectors and wear bars
- Ripper shanks and protectors
- Grader blades
GET wear splits along the same geographic line the state does. Middle and East Tennessee limestone and chert call for rock and penetration tooth systems. West Tennessee and Delta soils are mostly a penetration problem, but loess is abrasive enough that teeth wear faster than the material's softness suggests. We'll help you match tooth style to what you're actually digging.
Built for Tennessee and Mid-South Conditions
Distribution, Logistics and Warehouse Development
Memphis is one of the largest freight and logistics hubs in the world, and the buildout that supports it hasn't slowed. Distribution centers, cold storage, intermodal facilities and the site work underneath them mean mass grading, deep utility installation and pad construction on schedules with real penalties attached. High-hour dozers and excavators, long travel between phases, and general contractors who cannot afford a machine sitting.
The Ford BlueOval City Megasite and West Tennessee Industrial Growth
Large-scale industrial development in West Tennessee has pulled an enormous amount of earthmoving equipment into a region that historically ran mostly agricultural machines. Megasite work, supplier facilities, road and utility infrastructure — all of it on alluvial and loess ground that behaves very differently from the limestone contractors are used to in Middle Tennessee.
The Mississippi River and Port Work
The Port of Memphis is among the largest inland ports in the country, and the river drives a category of work most states don't have: bank stabilization, revetment, levee maintenance, terminal construction, dredge support and periodic flood response. Heavy machines in saturated ground for extended periods, which wears bushings and sprockets steadily rather than dramatically, and rewards planned rebuilds over emergency ones.
Delta Agriculture
Cotton, soybeans, rice and corn across West Tennessee, the Arkansas Delta and North Mississippi. Two things make this ground distinct for undercarriage:
Buckshot Clay and Gumbo
Wet Delta clay packs into running gear and then dries hard, loading idlers, recoil springs and adjusters while hiding wear underneath. It's the single most common reason a Delta machine's undercarriage looks fine and isn't.
Levee, Land Forming and Drainage Work
Precision land leveling, drainage ditching and levee maintenance keep tracked equipment working saturated ground through narrow seasonal windows, often with wide or LGP shoes.
Limestone, Quarry and Middle Tennessee Rock
Limestone sits close to the surface across much of Middle Tennessee, and quarry and aggregate operations run loaders, excavators and dozers in continuous rock contact. Cracked rollers, damaged idlers and chipped sprocket teeth — impact damage rather than gradual wear. Heavy-duty gauge components and full-length guiding cost more up front and are cheaper across the life of the machine.
Nashville's sustained growth adds mass excavation and site development on that same rock, which is harder on GET than most contractors coming from softer ground expect.
East Tennessee, the Plateau and Appalachian Work
Steep grades, rock, and the side loading that comes with slope work — one of the fastest ways to wear a chain unevenly and throw a track. Full-length guiding is the direct answer. Add legacy mining, reclamation and quarrying through the eastern counties, plus the Chattanooga and Knoxville metros.
Forestry, Timber and Land Clearing
Hardwood harvest across the plateau and eastern counties, pulpwood in the west, and land clearing statewide. Harvesters, forwarders, skidders, mulchers and CTLs on stumps, roots and rock — the highest-impact undercarriage application in the state, and the one where guarding and full-length guiding most clearly pay for themselves.
Highway and Heavy Civil
TDOT work and the I-40, I-55 and I-24 corridors, plus bridge replacement and interchange work across all three grand divisions.
Heat, Storms and Ice
Long humid summers are hard on rubber, seals and lubricants. Severe storms, tornado activity and periodic ice storms generate sudden, urgent demand for debris removal and clearing — and storm debris is the harshest material a bucket tooth or cutting edge will ever see. We stock GET with those seasons in mind.
Equipment Brands We Support

Why Dealerships Buy from ITP
Family-owned since 1956, now in our fourth generation. Seven decades of doing one thing. When your counter has a customer waiting and a part number that doesn't cross, the person you reach here has almost certainly seen it before.
One of the longest-tenured authorized Berco dealers in North America. A relationship that goes back decades, and a name your customers already trust.
Our own ITP private-label line. We spec and cast our own undercarriage components to demanding standards, verify them, and stand behind them. It's a line you can put on your shelf and sell with confidence, and it's our name and reputation on it — which is exactly why we won't put it on anything that doesn't earn it.
Nine U.S. branches and deep inventory. New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and Louisiana. Distributed stock means fewer backorders and fewer conversations where you have to tell a customer you don't know when it's coming.
Fitment support that saves your counter time. Send us the machine make, model and serial, or photos of what's worn. Undercarriage is a measurement problem before it's a parts problem, and we'd rather spend the fifteen minutes with you than have you eat a return.
